Leadership Analysis II
Leadership Analysis II takes the experienced leader to the next level. This self-directed, four-day workshop measures your progress against benchmarks previously set by you in our flagship program, Leadership Analysis. Using a different, yet compatible, clinical assessment, you will identify your successes, look at areas to improve and strategize your continued growth as a leader.
Leadership Analysis II is delivered by contract only and is for leaders and managers with five or more years of experience. We recommend that you first complete our flagship program, Leadership Analysis, in order to establish a comprehensive, baseline leadership assessment.
Workshop Focus
Change is constant; therefore, leaders’ skills must continually evolve and be nourished throughout their careers. In a positive and supportive environment, you will be challenged and encouraged to take your leadership skills to the next level. You will identify successes upon which to build, areas to change, and new best practice competencies—all of which will be incorporated into a new growth plan.
Leadership Analysis II is based upon the 360° feedback tool, Leadership/Impact. The diagnosis measures leadership strategies as perceived by those who work closely with you compared to your own self-perception. Effectiveness depends on how well an individual’s activities and behaviors propel or restrict goals, opportunities and accomplishments. The ten strategies measured by the feedback are:

- Role Modeling
- Mentoring
- Stimulating Thinking
- Referring
- Monitoring
- Providing Feedback
- Reinforcing
- Influencing
- Creating a Setting
Interactive workshops and instructional activities are used to investigate each area and model efficient and effective leadership strategies. You will have opportunity to compare this feedback to the previous feedback received in Leadership Analysis and to your professional strategic plan.
Outcomes/Results
- Receive viable 360° feedback on individual leadership impact and influence that:
- Reflects on how leadership style impacts others
- Gives insight into how techniques account for impact
- Shows implications of these strategies for personal and organizational effectiveness
- Improve leadership strategies through needs identified by participant feedback.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses from detailed and specific feedback in order to target leadership improvements.
- Learn useful models and benchmark practices for leadership effectiveness.
- Create a personal, self-directed action plan for future leadership/management development.
Personalized Feedback Report
You will receive the Leadership/Impact Report, a detailed feedback notebook that contains visual comparison of feedback results, item-by-item. Raw data scores are measured against a world-class, best-practice database. All scoring is conducted by a third party computerized system to ensure absolute confidentiality, and all information is kept confidential. Hillsdale keeps no records and makes no reports back to participant’s organization.
360° Assessment: Leadership/Impact
60 days prior: We will mail the 360° Assessment to all who are registered in the Leadership Analysis II program, with instructions for completion and return to us.
30 days prior: All completed assessments are to be returned to the Dow Center by this date.
We will computer score all assessments and the information will be incorporated into the seminar.
